Females

If you are interested in adopting any of our single female rabbits, please go to our Adoption Application. All our rabbits are neutered and litterbox-trained prior to adoption.

Kitty
Kitty has the beautiful markings of a Siamese cat. Best for experienced bunny homes because she’s full of bunitude! That’s fine with us; if you don’t mind a small, pretty bunny with spirit, let us know.
She loves her wooden house and toys, and will make someone very happy one day.

Pat the Bunny
A loving, interactive girl, Pat climbs on her foster parents and gives them kisses. Her foster parents have cared for her since she was six weeks old. Pat was spayed on January 3rd–now she can go to a permanent home! Click here for a video showing Pat’s charming qualities!

SuperNova
Our dynamic rabbit has the intelligence to know how to wrap humans around her little paw. If you’re willing to let her be Queen Bunny, all will go well.

Tulip
This beautiful and friendly Dwarf Dutch girl was abandoned at a school–not a safe place for a bunny girl to live! Thankfully one of the teachers realized this and took her home. Tulip will be available for adoption as soon as she is spayed. Please let us know if you’d like to meet her. She needs a longer-term foster home, too.

Minette
She’s a flirty, pretty rabbit girl yearning for a stable home with people who will be there for her always. None of her many current admirers can make a 10+ year commitment to take care of her. Please let us know if you will.

Petra
Her humans named her Peter because they thought she was a boy. How often we hear that story! So when he turned out to be a she and was spayed, they changed her name to Petra. She’s a strong, yet friendly, perfectly normal bunny girl. We haven’t a clue why she was abandoned–that usually has more to do with the humans than the rabbits.

Squirt
She’s playful and energetic, though a sensitive girl. Just think of her as a miniature racehorse taking off in your home! She forms deep attachments to her humans and will snuggle under your arm for protection against strangers.

Magenta Faraday
I am a beautiful rabbit with a light nose smudge. The rumors are true: I’m difficult when it comes to rabbits, and demand servitude from humans. Strong women rabbits are not appreciated enough! If you think you can admire me for Me, then we should meet.

Scintilla
A pretty Dutch blend rabbit, Scintilla was abandoned after the thrill wore off, and put outside to fend for herself. She fought the odds, ate grasses and hid under things to stay alive, until kind people took her off the streets and now she’s staying in a place that houses rescued cats. The cats need her space to recover from their neuters, and Scintilla desperately needs a permanent home with her own human and other bunny to love. She has had a hard life but we are sure she’ll learn to trust humans again if someone will give her a chance and take her home.

Snowshoes
So pretty with her little white front paws, this girl has the potential to love people again if the right humans provide the gentle care she needs. Snowshoes just got spayed at the end of March at about four months of age.

Jenny
Jenny’s beautiful, affectionate and an overall fantastic house rabbit. She’s about 4.5 lbs and her birthdate is March 3, 2010.Emily
She’s a perfect house rabbit with impeccable box habits, needs lots of space to call her own and has no patience with humans who do not let her have her way. If you admire a strong personality in a rabbit girl, Emily might be the perfect one for you!

Starlet
I am young, I am pretty, I am full of energy, and the world revolves around Me. I will be available for adoption in June after the special operation they say I must have to prevent cancer. Then if you are very lucky, you will be allowed to adopt me! I recommend filling out an application now, to get a head start on the competition. Update June 15, 2011: I had my spay operation! I am ready to be adopted now. Unfortunately, I didn’t get enough pets when I was a bunny baby, so I’m terribly shy. But I am unbearably cute and I am sure you’ll agree that just having me around while I learn that human pets aren’t so bad, after all, would be a wonderful thing.

Appassionata
“Dare I believe I’m finally in a good place? You cannot imagine my childhood. Last summer, Humane Officers answered a complaint and found a multitude of rabbits housed in the back of an abandoned pickup truck. The scumbag who came and tossed us pellets and always took some of us away was never apprehended. Only a few of us were healthy enough to survive. Now, 1/18/11, I am healthy and very beautiful but still suffering from PTSS. I’m a girl exploding with rabbitude. It is still a stretch for me to believe there are good humans in the world. Is that how the world looks to you too? We could embark on a healing journey together, you and I….
Please come and visit. I need pets from many hands, really I do. With a worried snort, your Appassionata.”

Baby
Our baby foster girl will need a forever home after she is weaned and spayed at four months of age. She’s a sweet little bunny and kisses people, but headstrong and used to getting her way!
Update 11/29/10: this is Baby now! She’s scheduled to be spayed mid-December and can go home after she recovers from her operation. Baby’s turned into a highly interactive rabbit who craves attention from humans. She’s a teenager now so it’s hard to tell how easy it will be to bond her with another rabbit. However as we know from experience, “two is better than one”!
Update 1/25/11: Baby has an infection in her left eye. We are treating her and will post updates of her progress. Update 4/8/11: Baby had to have her eye removed. Tests show no systemic infection, so, she’s going to be just fine! She will be available for adoption in May, once she has completely healed.
Update 7/11: Baby’s all recovered and ready to be adopted!

      Bluebelle
A gentle, shy rabbit, with potential to develop close friendships, she will bond to you and be your very own house snowbunny as long as you are kind to her. She’s white with beautiful light blue eyes.

Mocha & Cinnamon
Beautiful brown sister bunnies with a lot of potential to love again. They were abandoned along with their siblings, lived in inhumane conditions with little human interaction, so it’s no wonder they are a bit traumatized, but with our volunteers petting them every day, they’ve already become more friendly. Mocha & Cinnamon use their box properly and hope to be loved house rabbits, soon.

Emmie
Our stunning English Spot blend girl would like to be the center of attention in her home.

Princess Molly
She is an affectionate, interactive young kissy bunny with a lot of love to give the right human family. When her first family got tired of taking care of her, they threw her out into the Great Outdoors. It was rainy and cold, she didn’t know where to go, and so she found herself at a busy intersection. It was scary with all the cars whizzing past, but then she saw a nice man running after her and being a social girl, hopped right up to him. Unfortunately the nice man travels constantly, so he put her up with a friend, left town, then came back, expecting someone would surely want to adopt this beautiful rabbit right away. He didn’t know about the prejudice against white/pink bunnies. If you have an open mind about the color of the bunny, and want a loving rabbit girl in your home, please let us know. Princess Molly’s about four months old on November 28.

Nutmeg
Thanks to our wonderful volunteers, Nutmeg has learned to trust people again! She’s turned into a big, handsome girl who likes pets and listening to her favorite volunteers talk to her. We love her and we’re sure you will, too.Amy
Come visit Amy and she will have you wrapped around her little white paw in no time! She’s young at about five or six months of age in November 2011, almost done growing and small with Dwarf characteristics.

Jean Grey
I’m the saddest rabbit in the World. First, my rabbit friend turned on me and hit me on the face. Then my humans dumped me on the street, saying that he was cuter, and since we didn’t get along, and I’m the one who could have babies, they got rid of me. What’s wrong with people? Haven’t they heard of spay and neuter? Anyway, I am just a plain grey rabbit and he had a flashier look. The volunteers say that I’m pretty, too. I am hoping and hoping for a real home with human caretakers who will be there for me always.

Cascades
Some silly humans dyed me pink when I was younger. Fortunately, I did a major shed and got rid of all the fake color so now my natural beauty comes out. I am a small, people-loving bunny. If you sit very still, I will jump up onto your lap. Though I’m still young, I’m probably done growing.

Latest ‘photo from April 2011 of two of the girls. The Go-Go’s: Belinda, Kathy, Charlotte, Gina and Jane are all pretty, cosmopolitan girls, looking for a home in groups of two or three or with their brothers Harley and Davis, or with your neutered boy rabbit. They were born on March 3, 2010, in case you want to have a birthday party for them next year. They are playful, happy, well-adjusted girls. We love them and we’re sure you will, too.

Bonnie
After four years of being locked up in a bird cage, Bonnie has an understandable mistrust of human beings. It may be a blessing that she was finally abandoned and can now find a humane home. NO cage for our rabbit girl, please! Bonnie may qualify as our Least Adoptable Rabbit because she hates to be touched by humans although she makes lots of eye contact, but we believe that there is a family for everyone out there. She needs people who will just let her be a rabbit in their home and take pleasure in feeding her hay, greens and occasional bits of fruit because that makes her a happy bunny.

Gracie
Our pretty, healthy Lop girl has excellent house habits. She loves independent explorations of “her” foster home, but will stop playing and come running when you bring her hay and salad. It’s obvious she thinks humans were put on this Earth to prepare greens for her! She may deign to let you pet her if you give her the best leafy greens. She’s developed into a calm adult rabbit, and is about three or four years old in 2011.

StarSisters2

The Star Sisters (or Star 1 and Star 2) are a bonded pair of Dutch cross sisters who came from a group of four, originally found as babies huddled next to their mother’s body in the middle of the street in Santa Monica. They’re a bit shy but sweet. What’s more adorable than those little white nose tips?

Aurora

Aurora: This wonderful rabbit comes right up to you for pets for as long as you care to give them. She gives back with kisses! She has beautiful symmetrical orange markings on her face and demonstrates her joyful binkies with a doe-like grace. Aurora wants nothing more than to be loved in a home with kind humans with lots of room to play and explore.

Pearlescence
Pearl is a medium-large, Californian blend rabbit, full of character and love. A house rabbit to match all house rabbits, she will never stop appreciating her humans for taking her in.

Tuonela
A handsome Dutch blend girl from the same neglect situation as Apassionata, she needs a home where she can learn to trust humans again.

Annie
Look at that baby face! Our little Orphan Annie is scared inside but happy on the outside. Please let us know if you would like to give her a forever home.
