Single Males

If you are interested in adopting any of our single male rabbits, please go to our Adoption Application.

Buttons
Poor Buttons had been kept in inhumane conditions before he came to us. Apparently those people thought he was a turtle and kept him in an aquarium–NOT proper housing for bunnies! Fortunately, a Good Samaritan came along and rescued him. Buttons is scheduled to have his neuter operation in early September and then he can go a safe, loving home with someone smart enough to recognize what a special little rabbit he is. He’s about 3-3.5 lbs, done growing at 1-2 years of age, and an all-round love of a bunny.

Silver & Gold
Dumped in a park and then rescued by a kind veterinarian and her children, these young bunny boys want a home together, but if each can go to a girl rabbit (spayed for at least two weeks first), that’s ok, too. Their foster family already got them neutered and has been caring for them, but can’t keep them forever. Please let us know if you would like to meet these friendly and handsome rabbits!

Sutherland
I’m a stunning cinnamon bunboy–pay no attention to my surfer dude bleached coat! I was housed outdoors, you see, in the hot sun, not inside the home like domestic rabbits should be. In a few months I’ll undergo my first shed and my coat will become a proper cinammon color. Oh, and I only weigh 4.5 lbs. I intend to stay small. Cinnamon kisses to you! Your Sutherland.

Dutch Boy
A spike of white, a splash of black, a swath of white again, and a block of black: that’s our little Dutch Boy. Under 4 lbs at about eight months of age, he’s not only a small rabbit, he’s extremely people-friendly. Put in your application for him now–we predict he won’t be homeless for long!

Tipper
He’s a growing boy and he’s going to be BIG! Tipper got his name from the adorable little bend at the tip of his right ear. There must have been a Lop among his ancestors. But really, who cares about genetics when choosing a companion house rabbit? What matters is that he loves attention and dances happily whenever you greet him. Adopt this bouncy, lively rabbit and your home will never be the same.

Thing 1
From an unwanted litter, a small spotted boy named Thing 1 stayed friends with his brother, a brown Dutch-marked bunny named Thing 2. A mixture of many different kinds of bunnies, Thing 1 will probably be a medium-sized rabbit when he grows up, just like his mom and siblings. He’s available mid-October after the special operation that will help him become the best house bunny he can be. Thing 1 & Thing 2 can be adopted together or separately to be friends with other rabbits, but they don’t want to live alone.

Thing 2
From an unwanted litter, a small brown Dutch-marked boy named Thing 2 stayed friends with his brother, an English Spot-marked bunny named Thing 1. A mixture of many different kinds of bunnies, Thing 2 will probably be a medium-sized rabbit when he grows up, just like his mom and siblings. He’s available mid-October after the special operation that will help him become the best house bunny he can be. Thing 1 & Thing 2 can be adopted together or separately to be friends with other rabbits, but they don’t want to live alone.

Jean-Luc

Jean-Luc
Weighs 3 pounds and his birthdate is April 1, 2010. His genes are from Dutch and Tan or Silver Marten rabbits. His right eye is blue, left eye has a colorful split iris. UPDATE 8/15/10: Jean-Luc has developed head tilt. He is under treatment and will be available for adoption once he has recovered. Poor little bun is down to just over 2 lbs now.

Gardenia1

Gardenia2

Gardner
Little Gardner was rescued from a breeder and is a happy little bun who loves his toys and his hay. He also gets along well with other bunnies.

Roger

Roger
A dynamic rabbit with personality-plus. Roger has to be Top Rabbit of the household. He’s a territorial boy, teeming with energy and brimming over with love. Just smother him with attention and he’ll be endlessly grateful. Roger’s on the small side of medium-sized and done growing; his chubby little face shows some Dwarf characteristics.

HarleyDavis

Harley and Davis This Harlequin blend rabbit and his brown Agouti brother attract attention whereever they go. Brothers to the Go-Go’s, they would like to be adopted each with one of his sisters. They no longer get along with each other!

Akamu1

Akamu2

Akamu
Akamu is about six months old and weighs 5 lbs. 7 oz. He was named the Hawaiian word for “earth tones” due to the way his plush Palomino coat catches the light and ranges in color from gold to brown. Friendly as can be, Akamu is ready to share ohana with you in your loving home.

Buddy

Buddy
Buddy is an English Spot blend rabbit. He has a lovely, plush coat and eloquent dark eyes. Buddy is vivacious and lively. As much as he loves to run and play, however, he also loves to be petted and cuddled.

Filbert, Mac, Cashew & Pistachio
Four baby brothers, part Dwarf, rescued from a downtown situation with their sister Almondine. These bouncy little boys were neutered at the end of June. UPDATE 8/7/10: Cashew has been adopted and Filbert no longer gets along with Mac & Pistachio (the two little white boys). Mac and Pistachio are tightly bonded brothers and must be adopted together.

Beau

Beau: He’s as handsome as can be with his Russian blue coat and grey-blue eyes, and he knows it! Beau’s a small rabbit, just under 3 lbs at about ten months of age. He would like to be the head of your household.

Orlando1

Orlando2

Orlando is a sweet, brave bunny bonded to his girlbun Rosalind (see her on the Bachelorettes page). He is approximately two years old. Orlando and Rosalind were rescued from squalor and are gaining weight and joy. His matted coat is growing back, but Orlando would sure love it if you would pet his fur and stroke his ears anyway. Let Orlando give you one of his famous nose-bonks and win your heart!

Robin

Robin: A rabbit with personality plus, Robin also overwhelms you with his Dwarf Hotot blend cuteness and blue-blue eyes. He’s still young, too, and full of rabbit dances ready to leap out at a moment’s notice. Adopt him and you’ll never have a dull moment at home again!

Carrot

Carrot: A young, red-tan bunny with energy and an outgoing personality. He’s already neutered and learning to use his box fast! Adopt him before someone else does.

Rosselini

Rosselini2

Rossellini was a rescue (along with three siblings) from an abandoned home. He and his siblings were left to fend for themselves, but they are recovering nicely and thriving on love, food and comfortable shelter. Rossellini is 5 months old and weighs 4 lbs. His pretty brown eyes and pudgy cheeks will captivate you.

Schubert1

Schubert2

Schubert was part of a foursome of rabbits found in the backyard of an abandoned home. He is five months old and weighs 4.5 lbs. Because of his outdoor time, it is not certain yet if his coat will remain brown or turn black, but with lots of food and love he has become one handome boy with expressive brown eyes. Give this spirited bun a forever home!

Peri_1

Peri_2

Peri, our handsome Himalayan Lop blend boy, just lost his brother Winkle. He keeps looking over at the empty dinner plate that Winkle used to sit on. Although Peri has never been ill in over five years, depression could cause him to get sick – rabbits are such sensitive creatures – so he needs another rabbit friend as soon as possible to distract him from grief. Please consider adopting him if you have a single adult female rabbit needing a friend. Peri also gets attached to people, and moving in and out of a string of foster homes has been hard on him. Please take the commitment of adopting him very seriously. We do not want him to suffer any more.

Monkey

Monkey: This dynamic little bun loves to be petted and tooth-purrs. Monkey is actually a very affectionate, loving bunny, but he does bite. Loves people and other bunnies. A small, wide-faced boy, Monkey has a bit of Lop in his ears and an endearing seam down the middle of his back. Monkey would love to be adopted and bonded with a special girlbun.

Chase

Chase: He looks just like a woodland bunny, but he’s a domestic breed brown agouti with white tummy and tail. He’s enough of a pet bunny to love people, and enough of a free spirit to hate confinement. Don’t expect him to stay in an uncovered bunny pen – he’ll jump right over the top! He practices this move by leaping directly from the floor to the top of his cottontail cottage and back down again. Boing, boing. So endearing. Adopt him, give him plenty of space to play in, and he’ll be grateful forever.

Freckles

Freckles: This little one looks like a spotted egg. He’s a sweet boy and can be adopted for your girlbun.

Mouffie1

Mouffie2

Mouffie (short for Mouffetard) was a Valentine’s day gift gone wrong. He was delivered with 100 roses to a lucky recipient who foolishly gave up the bunny and kept the roses. Mouffie weighs 4.25 lbs and is 5 months old. He has a bit more growing to do, but his soft coat is a pretty chinchilla grey. In his spare time he likes to shred cardboard, run and play, and eat lots of greens. Won’t you be Mouffie’s forever Valentine?

Oreo

Oreo: This black and white boy wants to be included in everything and loves human attention. He enjoys perching on chairs and the couch and doing bunny flops. If you have a cat or gentle, obedience-trained dog, Oreo will get along with them, too. He’s a very trusting soul. With his easygoing personality, he’s sure to be happy in your home.

JeanClaude

Jean-Claude just lost his beautiful, delicate wife Giselle and is very depressed. He needs a new bunny friend soon. Do you have a lonely rabbit girl who needs a bunny for herself? If so, Jean-Claude promises to be a good partner to her. Jean-Claude is around 3-4 years old and a devoted, kind rabbit friend, good with his box and an all-round wonderful rabbit.

Yuri_1

Yuri_2

Yuri Yevtushenko is a smart bun who made a break for freedom from a neglect situation and survived his adventures with just one exotic black streak in his fur. (It’s fading out nicely now.) Yuri is an endearing boy and still growing at 5.5 lbs and 10 months. Give this little adventurer a loving place to call home.

Rumpus

Rumpus is super-fluffy and full of love. This boy bun has sweet, polite manners and is quite handsome to boot!
All he needs is a loving home and the perfect girl bun to make his life complete. No “wild Rumpus” here, just a gentle bundle of affection.

Peter

Peter is a mischievous bunny, like his namesake Peter Rabbit. This one needs some humans to set boundaries. Like so many teenagers, Peter can’t help himself: he just has to get into trouble! When you tell him how naughty he is, he makes faces and gives you the tail twitch (the bunny equivalent of backtalk). But who can resist that beautiful brown agouti, wild rabbit look?

Whitney

Whitney
This handsome boy is friendly and loves to play. About 5 months old and 3.5 lbs., he is neutered, with good litter box habits. He would make a great companion for your girl bunny.

Beebop1

Beebop2

Beebop
Beebop is a loveable brown bun whose owners are sad to leave him as they relocate due to the economy. He’s a friendly, spunky guy who has good litterbox habits.

HappyFeet

Happy Feet
This medium red-haired explorer boy is a dancing fool! He can’t stop squiggling and kicking up his heels, and zooming around at top speed, only to stop on a dime. He loves to play an enthusiastic game of run-around-the-feet or I-got-your-tail. This playboy will run off with your heart before you know it’s missing, and when he’s trailing your every step, his happiness makes the littlest apartment seem as spacious as a palace. Contact ecaridaly@yahoo.com for more information about Happy Feet.*

Snowflake

Snowflake
Few people want the white rabbits with pink eyes and we just can’t figure it out (huh? How is it that white cats are so desirable?! What’s with these strange prejudices?). So the white rabbits wait and wait for someone less shallow to come along… Are you the one? If character and house habits are more important to you than color, please do let us know. Snowflake has a loving disposition and knows to use his box already. He’s neutered, too, just like all our rabbits, and would like a rabbit girlfriend of his own to keep him company.

An

Chocko-Point
This rabbit has distictive markings, as you can see. He’s a medium-sized, handsome and accomplished rabbit.

AnSilver

Silver
Big white boy rabbit is from a neglect case.
